How to Order:

Call the catering office, at 226-9593, or email us at
sales@kitchenhearth.net to place an order. All orders
must be confirmed.
For many of our menu items, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for catering orders. For orders placed with less than 24-hour notice, menu choices may be limited, but we will always try to accommodate your last minute orders as best we can. A minimum of $10.00 will be added to orders placed after 4:00 p.m. on the business day before the event.

Deliveries:
|
|
$100 minimum order required for delivery.
A 15% service charge will be applied to the food/drink portion of your bill for all non-staffed events. This service charge includes delivery, setup, pickup, equipment, serving utensils and eating utensils.
Delivery charge for box lunches is $12.00. For box lunch orders over $200 delivery is free. Saturday box lunch orders require a minimum of 20 boxes with a $25.00 delivery charge.
Call our sales office for delivery charge information outside of the Madison area.
Orders may be picked up with no charge at Kitchen Hearth, 167 E. Badger Road, during normal business hours (8:30am to 4:00pm M-F).

Cancellation Policy:
|
|
If a cancellation request is given fewer than 72 hours in advance, the customer is responsible for full payment of the order. For parties over 50 people, a two-week notice is required to cancel an order.
|
|
Staff Services:
|
|
Buffet Service:
For staff services beyond delivering the food, such as set-up, serving, or clean-up, the charge is $20.00 an hour per staff person with a minimum of 4 hours. For groups requiring staff to remain on site, a service charge of 18% of the food is charged to your bill or a minimum service charge of $50.00 per staff person. On-site chef service is $25.00 an hour per chef. For staffed events, charges are billed on a portal-to-portal basis.
Plated Service:
Plated service requiring staff will be the same as Buffet Service except staff is billed at $25.00 per hour and the service charge is 20% of food costs.

Serving Materials:
|
|
All plastic cutlery, plates and napkins are included with your food order at no charge.
|
|
Sunday and Holiday Events:
|
|
A minimum food order of $500.00 is required for Sunday and Holiday events. Holiday service delivery charge of 20% of food costs will apply on these holidays; Christmas, Easter, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, New Year’s Day.

Payment:
|
|
Corporate events: If you would like to establish a corporate charge account, we would be happy to set one up for you. Payment terms for corporate billing are 15 days.
Private events: For orders under $500.00 we require payment 3 business days prior to the event.
For orders over $500.00:
- To reserve the date, $250.00 down payment is required. (This is refundable only if the event is cancelled up to 30 days prior to the event.)
- Final estimated payment is due 3 business days prior to the event with cash, personal check, or credit card. Service fees or adjustments to the final bill after the event may need to be billed or credited.

China and Linen Rentals
|
|
We can accommodate all your rental needs. Linen tablecloths are available for $10.00 each. Ask about prices for china, flatware and stemware. The client is responsible for any lost, damaged or broken pieces.

|
Food Allergies
|
|
If a food allergy exists, the client is responsible for making alternate meal arrangements. Nuts and shellfish are used regularly in our kitchen.
|
|
Leftover Food
|
|
For events staffed by Kitchen Hearth, leftover food may remain with the client if it is determined by Kitchen Hearth staff to be within safe health parameters. Kitchen Hearth staff will provide the containers and package up these leftovers at a fee of $25. After food is in the possession of the client, Kitchen Hearth will not be responsible for the quality or condition of that food.

Facilities
|
|
Kitchen Hearth is an authorized caterer at the following facilities: Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Warner Park Center, Lussier Family Heritage Center, Fitchburg Community Center, The Brink Lounge, Waunakee Village Center, Monona Community Center and Madison Turners Hall. There is an additional charge on events held at these facilities. Each of these facilities has a mandatory fee, which is a percentage of food and beverage costs, which is required to be charged to the client. All of these fees are returned to the respective facility.
